Guest Speakers: Craig & Alyson Beytien
Craig and Alyson Beytien are the proud and harried parents of 3 teenage sons with Autism.  Alyson is popular speaker, parent/teacher trainer, and consultant for school districts throughout the Midwest (and beyond!) on educating individuals with Autism across the lifespan.  Craig is a publishing executive and semi-professional magician.  They’ve been married for 22 years, and still like each other!

Topic: Get it Together!:  Maintaining a Marriage Relationship in a Family with Autism
The stress and strain of raising a child with special needs can significantly impact a marriage relationship.  This presentation focuses on practical ways to maintain, and enhance, the relationship between partners and still handle the challenges of parenting a special needs child.  Both husband and wife perspectives are discussed, and ideas for supporting each other and the child are presented.

Mark your calendars and plan now to attend! Alyson has spoken to our group the last two years and was warmly received by large audiences. She is entertaining and informative -- a must see for anyone who has been touched by autism.

Although the Beytiens have children with autism, this presentation is appropriate for anyone with a special needs child.

Everyone is welcome!  Grab a friend or a family member!  We hope to see you there.
